I have seen job ads for public schools, through EPIK and GEPIK and those jobs start in spring. I have my criminal record check but not my apostille. Is it too late to apply?

I have seen the new EPIK application form for August, and it seems even more complex than expected. But I would prefer to work with GEPIK anyway. I would prefer to get a teaching job this spring than wait till August. I have recommendation letters and proof of employment for one year.
I choose public schools because they seem the safer option. I do wish Korea could go back to 10 years ago when lots of jobs were on offer there.

Bad News: Yes, you're around 1-2 months late for the Spring 2013 intake.

Good News: You're right on time for the Fall 2013 intake.

I've seen GEPIK and other POE/MOE public schools still hiring. All is not lost. Hit the job boards.

I've seen a few alright. Also on the GEPIK FB page sometimes people post up ads there.

I'll add that you can find positions that are available all year long, but that the main intakes are March and September.

Jeolla provinces' intake is April 15th or around then, so if you apply for your apostille today and start the process with a recruiter you could still be in for that. Try footprints or canadian connections
