Hows about getting with the winning team and converting it to a measurement that everyone else *except* your mob and Belize uses? Thanks, luv!

Hit 31c in my city in China today. Alas going to drop down to a ball clenching 4 degrees tomorrow. Movie and nap day pending.

That would require independent thought. According to the calendar it's early March, hence still cold. Never mind what the thermometer and common sense say.

I remember living in Sokcho many moons ago, heading to the beach one Saturday on the last day of August and the beach was 30 plus degrees and jam packed. The next day even though it was the same temperature it was basically deserted. I went swimming and was getting the "Oh berry cwazy!!" stares from people walking past in winter clothes, lol.

I get that, but man, it was waaaay too hot for a winter jacket yesterday.

Today on the other hand, it was close to 0*C, quite windy, and I saw a guy in shorts and slippers, and a few girls in short skirts Smile

It is like they have no sense of temperature, but rather a common-country-wide idea of how people should dress at any day of the year Wink

Anywhere else in the world an early Spring is a good thing. Unfortunately, in Korea it comes with the stench of sewers and increased crowds on the streets. Crowds of Koreans means, among other things, increased bumping, colliding, littering, spitting and snot rockets on the sidewalk. Not to mention an increase in obnoxious drivers and their pollution-spewing vehicles. Only in Korea can a very positive thing (an early Spring) be immediately offset by so many negatives. Confused

Come to think of it, that's Korea's greatest failing. Every single positive, enjoyable moment outside the home is so quickly (almost immediately) spoiled by some abnoxious behavior.

I was wearing shorts today along with a windbreaker. Surprise, some people are less susceptible to cold weather than others.

You missed the slippers part Smile I was showcasing the ridicolous opposites... again it was as if they don't dress for the weather, but for the "calendar dictated thing" Smile
The guy wearing slippers and shorts today is less strange to me than the folks wearing winter jackets yesterday.

I bet the bus drivers had the heaters on and the riders kept the windows closed.

They had the heat on in the subway on Saturday with many Koreans wearing hats, scarves, and gloves.
