I have been offered a job by a school calling themselves wonderland techno Guanpyong-dong, Yoosung-gu, Daejeon.

Was wondering if anyone had worked there or had any related experience working either in that area or at that specific hagwon. I've red alot of dread inspiring warnings against wonderland as a whole but seen nothing about this particular branch. The only thing making my decision up so far is that the interviewer sounded really really nice over the phone so please HELP!

Are you a gambler who likes to lose? If so, then sign a Wonderland contract. I'd say the same about CDI, SLP, POLY and more.

Your first day at Wonderland: moving into an apartment trashed like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g8RmWpwPiz4

Your next few nights: cleaning up the apartment with every other resident in the building hating your guts for making the outside of the apartment building look like a junkyard with all of the trash.

Then...no utilities because your boss requires you to turn in your utilities bills. She deducts the money out of your paycheck to cover your bills, but doesn't pay the bills.

Also, no health insurance, no pension.

Your last night at Wonderland: booking a flight to pull your midnight runner just like all the rest of us who didn't heed the numerous warnings.

See my thread about demanding security deposits from employers.

Wonderland probably has the worst reputation of any of the big chain hagwons in Korea. Since small chain hagwons and individual hagwons aren't well known, it would be fair to say Wonderland has the worst reputation of any ESL employer in Korea.
