I'm getting sick of making seperate trps to buy many of the healthy foods that I eat (Oatmeal/loose green tea-Itaewon, canned salmon-HomePlus, vitamins/supplements-Costco etc...)

I thought I had it figured out with amazon but they are not allowed to send oatmeal, green tea nor canned salmon to Korea.

I took a look at Iherb's web site and they sell these items BUT has anyone had success with getting them shipped to Korea???

As an aside, any ideas on how to get the items I mentioned above delivered?

Thanks!!!

I use iHerb at least once a month - mostly just for protein tubs and such - never an issue with shipping.

Their personalized customer service could use some work though.

I've ordered from them a couple times, and will again soon. Everything arrived in Incheon within a couple days. (I believe it gets shipped out of LA, and direct).
Just make sure that your ARC number/ Korean ID #, and name and telephone number match up. My wife had an order sit in customs for weeks because
her stupid husband mismatched her name/ ID number, and the telephone number was wrong so they couldn't call her.

I also order from them about once a month. No complaints. Their prices are cheaper than some specialty shops in the US and Canada, AND shipping is dirt cheap too.

I live in Itaewon, but there are some things you can't get here very easily, like whole grain pasta, shirataki noodles, AFFORDABLE protein/energy bars, energy gels for running, etc. iHerb makes my life a little more normal than it might otherwise be.

Can he order canned salmon as well? I thought regular food would not be let through.

BTW: why canned salmon? e-Mart sells Alaskan salmon for ~30.000KRW/kg, which is what you pay for canned alaskan on iHerb.

Yeah, I wonder, would regular food be allowed through?

Canned salmon because it is convenient (a can after a workout or with my spinach salad for lunch). I also buy fresh salmon at Costco.

I've ordered canned tuna through iherb before. Never had a problem receiving it.

i get almost all of my food products and even household goods shipped from iherb.

never had a problem besides one time some liquid soap leaked all over my stuff.

i highly recommend iherb to anyone and everyone. their range of products is excellent and you don't have to deal with the dismal selection and cattle feeding that is emart and lottemart.

I've ordered cereal, jam, apple butter, peanut butter and almond butter from iHerb without any problems.

Two snaps and a twist for iHerb.

It's fantastic. Get some friends to order with you, save on shipping.

There's really cheap and great nut butters on there also!

How do you "save on shipping" to Korea, when there are only two options, limited by 80$ or 105$ per shipment, and limited by a few pounds per shipment weight?

And isn't it basically a $4 flat shipping rate now?

I haven't ordered in 4 or 5 months, maybe I don't remember correctly.

I remember ordering with friends to pass the 75$-ish mark, I thought there was a discount, but maybe it's just free shipping or something?

Honestly, I don't recall, I just thought there was some benefit to larger orders.

Until recently you could get it shipped via DHL and UPS, so you could order larger amounts (some things would not work because the customs do not allow larger quantities to be ordered in a single shipment).

However, you are limited to a 105$ per order now, since you can only ship DHL air mail, or Korean mail. DHL limits the shipment to 80$, Korean mail to $105 and requires your ARC.
