I love that! I can go birdwatching and stretch out my back, all on the same hike!

I don't know how unique korea really is. It seems to be a hybrid of all the asian cultures put together.

Most of the food comes either from china or Japan, they usually just add that beloved red pepper paste (don't get me wrong I love the stuff)

The thing I still find the most appalling is the fact that the kids are able to run freely anywhere. I mean it is not out of the ordinary to see a kid playing along the side of a freeway Shocked Shocked Shocked

I love the fact that after a 3 page thread on things you only see in korea, people will come along, not dispute what anyone else has put and say
"I don't think there's anything unique here"

Reading and writing don't always go hand in hand.

it is rather funny though. the first time i ever saw anything like this was here.

I see a lot of unique businesses. Koreans will do anything to raise a few extra bucks.

i'm totally guilty of this. i never did anything like this at home, but i feel like i can do it because the koreans are doing it.
i've also picked up the bad habit of running red lights.
yes, i've jumped on the bandwagon.

I enjoy pushing my way through crowds if I'm in a rush too. Just have to lower my standards enough to be able to walk down the street, pick up an empty yogurt carton off a ledge, spit in it, put it back and keep walking with no shame, then I'm all set.

All the grocery stores, all except the most white trashy have kimchee these days. Even Super Wal-Mart carries kimchee. The brand they carry is Kosher!

Puke on the sidewalks, spittle in the ashtrays, TP on the dining table, no TP (or soap or towels) in the bathroom.
