It's still far too crowded but at least they're trying something. I was there last evening and there's still a 20 minute wait for the hot turkey provolone sandwiches. What's on sale? The boxes with 60 packs of Swiss Miss hot chocolate with marshmallows is on sale for 5,990 won. The 16-count refill blades for Gillette Fusion razors are on sale for 34,990, which is a great deal. These sales end the 17th. The price has been lowered for the bags of CP frozen hot wings to 8,990 each.
If you want something perfect for a night when you sit at home and watch TV then get those wings and nuke them. Get some Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn, too.

I made the mistake of going to the Sangbong Costco food court on a Friday a few weeks ago, and it was a zoo. I think you could triple the size of that food court before there would be enough seats.

Plus free onions with dollops of ketchup and mustard. Don't forget the free onions!

Damnit, China bring Costco here already! I actually miss being able to go to a way overcrowded Costco like the ones I used to frequent in Yangjae and Sangbong.

It didn't matter what day at Yangjae, that place was filled to the brim. Sangbong, on the other hand, was much better early morn on the weekends.

I will laugh on the day when some guy opens a street cart with nothing but onions and mustard.

At Sangbong it just all depends. Sometimes the store is packed and there are plenty of seats in the food court and other times it's the exact opposite.

Either way, when the weather's nice I sit right outside. Unfortunately, more people seem to be catching onto that idea.

To add on to sojusucks's product parade, there are new items. While I give a pass to the Ritz crackers and saltines, I did go for the tomato basil bisque canned soup. And I highly recommend the Costco small batch bourbon, which I'm pretty sure is bottled by Jim Beam.

French macaroons for 4700 won were selling like hotcakes.

They should make a rule that no sitting down until you have your food!

I've had times where I sit at someones table while there are there "defending" their table for family in line (I just act oblivious). I can finish my hotdog and be gone before the rest of the family even arrives.
They will always have a problem until they say no sitting til you got your food.

I have some friends who are just nuts about the various cheeses.

Speaking about the Yangpyung Costco, the last few times I've gone there has been a woman giving samples of chocolate truffles at the start of that first snack aisle. Good Belgium chocolate.

I see no problem with saving a seat(s). That's common practice anywhere seating is limited.

I agree, Costco is a zoo. Way too crowded.

Not the French truffles in the brown box? Those are a great deal for the price and they were on sale this weekend.

Fortunately for my wallet and waistline, I rarely go to Costco by car and so limit my purchases by how much I can carry.
