I'd love to see them try and attempt this -- getting shot out of the sky as they parachute over Seoul, lol.

These are the kind of articles my family sends me. I'm sick of explaining to them that this will never happen in my time here. Though anything is possible, this though is highly, HIGHLY improbable.

SEOUL North Korea posted a new propaganda video Friday, showing paratroopers descending on Seoul in an invasion scenario that envisages taking around 150,000 US residents in South Korea hostage.

The four-minute video, titled "A Short, Three-Day War", begins with images of a massive artillery and rocket barrage, followed by a large-scale land and air assault with North Korean troops streaming over the border.

You could give your family a peace of mind by moving to a safer place such as wigwams by the Cayahoga river and support the Tribe. If you had voted Romney could've taken Ohio. It was that close.

And ignorance because someone believes the Word of God? We'll all see who was ignorant on Judgment Day that's for sure. Besides wherever the chips may fall, I will always be on the correct side -- If you're right, then there is no God and everyone just goes into the ground. If I am right, then I go to Heaven and you go to Hell. Either way you slice it I come out better (or even) with you.

I believe that is called Pascal's Wager.

Whatever you want to call it, it's true.

Bwahahha , such a simpleton ... Dodge, weren't you the one who advocated nuclear bombing North Korea - "every square mile of it " ??? in the "If War Breaks Out" thread.

That's NOT very 'Christian' of you ... what about the poor innocent women & children of North Korea ?? ... your 'imaginary friend' wouldn't be so happy with you for saying that .

In regards to a North Korean invasioin, I wouldn't be so sure the North Korean military wouldn't 'frag' their own officers & stop for Lotteria burgers during the invasion. All does not appear to be well, within the rank & file.

^^^ 12 North Korean soldiers defect to China, get caught & sent back to North Korea ... whoopsie !

I'm from Cleveland. It is a wonderful place to grow up. Not sure if it is a good place to find a job and raise a family (anymore) but it is a great place to grow up.

And, for the record, Ohio is a bell-weather state. It almost always votes the same way the majority of Americans do, and I don't think any Republican in the 20th and 21st centuries has won the presidency without winning Ohio.

But, Cleveland and Cuyahoga county consistantly vote Democrat.

Dodge7 would not have made any difference.

A decent Republican candidate could have.

I've lived all over the area from W. 110 near the lake to Cleveland Heights to Chagrin Falls.

If someone asks me if I am an eastsider or a westsider, I just say, "yes."

How about you?

Spent a couple years in Lakewood near Warren and Detroit before I came to Korea. Lived in Garfield Heights for a little while before that but spent most of my time growing up in Aurora Shores (went to Twinsburg schools) and Solon.
I was engaged to a girl that lived in Chagrin. I like the waterfall area around the popcorn shop down there.

Dodge7,

It is always nice to meet someone who has walked in the same/similar neighborhoods as oneself.

Steelrails,

yeah, yeah, yeah, I get it.

Kim Jung-eun just wishes he could have grown up in Cleveland, right?

No, I'm just a Michigander who loves to rag on Ohio. Although the Mudhens, 104.7, the Tribe during the 90s, and Marco's Pizza are all pretty cool. And bleep Art Modell.

As someone who lived in Cleveland in the early nineties, I agree with you. Bleep Art Modell.
