Yes, it's a magnetic hotel style card key. The only key was snapped in half and taped back together by one of the previous teachers in the apartment. The card key still works but is a little flimsy. I'd really like to get a replacement, but the maintenance staff in my building don't speak any English and I've not been in Korea long either.

Print this up and show it to your maintanence guy with the card. "Card is broken, how do I get a new one." Hope you get it sorted.

As a general FYI:

My electronic lock recently stopped functioning, I ended up having to pay 100,000won for a 'locksmith' to do some expert crowbar-ing and put in a new one.
