I'm thinking on teaching adults for a change of pace.

When you teach adults at YBM or Wall Street (or at adult hagwons in general) is it generally 1 on 1 or in a class room setting???

Or maybe a combination of both???

YBM it depends on the branch. ELS is classes generally. I think Premiere is limited to four students max or something? Not sure about other branches.

But even at ELS, during the slow months (when uni is in session) you will end up with some one-on-one classes. Whether that is okay or not depends entirely on the student really.

Don't know much about Wall Street, will leave that to someone else.

I used to work for Wall Street in Korea up to 2009 and for me they were a wonderful organisation. There were no split shifts, the management were friendly and supportive and the other teachers were professional. I don't know what YBM are like but when I was interviewed with them, they were offering split shifts (a big no-no for me) and they were keen to pay less than WSI Korea. However, this is going back a few years ago.

I would look at WSI Korea if I were you and I still have some friends still working with that organisation and they seem happy with their work.
