To get off the topic of newbies....

Has anyone considered that instead of bombs, etc. that the N.Koreans could use some type of biological warfare? Something like anthrax or small pox could probably be fairly easily released into the air. Sure, some would probably hit NK, but I don't think they'd care a whole lot.

Thoughts?

Does this include nuclear spiders that could bite me and make me turn into Spiderman?

If things cool down long enough, maybe a good time to start developing some (large-scale) fallout shelters. Here are some old models from the Cold War period:

first:: register with your embassy!!

authorities will tell you what to do. It will be martial law. so you have no argument, just let them help you.

the subways are the bomb shelters.

Nothing is going to happen. Nothing big anyway.

Probably not...but if they could introduce anthranx or small pox into cockroaches, it wouldn't be pretty.

Yes if anthrax could kill a cockroach which I doubt watching one die of it would not be very appealing.

Nothing is going to happen...koreans have a history of bellicose rhetoric.
Just to give you a heads up...when you see USFK families (spouses, children, non combatants) departing korea....then something is fixing to jump off...

Biological weapons are diplomatically equivalent to nuclear weapons, especially when unleashed on a nation connected to the global trade network with one of the busiest airports in the world. It would be a deceleration of war against the world. Certainly China with its extensive flights to and from Korea would have the sternest reaction to such an event.
