I still get my groupon deals from back home, and was about to unsubscribe when I decided to check if they had one for Seoul, and lo and behold, they do.. but it is in Korean and I don't speak Korean (yet)...

But well, is there an English speaking service like that here? With daily deals on goods/services/etc available in Seoul?

Thanks so much!

There's KoreaBites, an online auction site for coupons. I've bought a couple coupons through their site, though now the site appears to be broken. When I go to "http://deals.koreabites.com", all I get is a white screen with one word: "pageok" Confused The URL "http://markets.koreabites.com" yields a "404 - page not found" Rolling Eyes

A friend of mine used to use a local site a lot - got amazing 오리구이 for 9,900W a person...but I don't think it was in English, and frankly there is no reason to expect one in English anytime soon, the market is just too small.

Seriously, learning Korean will make your whole life much, much easier. Even a low intermediate level should be sufficient for you to navigate websites...I was buying tickets off interpark and 072 my first year in Korea (before Orbitz let you purchase tix originating overseas).
