hi all,

I'm planning to visit my tax office in the coming days. I'm looking to get a copy of my tax statements for the years 2008 through 2011.
Specifically, I need my gross pay and tax paid figures including the percentages involved.
I'm assuming that bringing my ARC and passport along will be enough for the tax office to furnish these details.

If anyone can confirm my assumptions, I'd be most grateful.

have a nice day all.

anb

I can't help, but I need to do the same thing this month so I'll give you a friendly bump.

From previous stints for other inquries at my local tax office, I can't say that this would be easy. They almost certainly will not be able to speak any English and will insist on proceeding with the wrong information even if you have the English-speaking tax representative from the Korean tax department (phone number below) telling them otherwise. I had to go back to that office numerous times!

The tax hotline in Seoul for foreigners is 1588-0560 - call them! http://www.nts.go.kr/eng/

Why can't you get your income statements from your school? Whenever I ask, my school gives me formal year-end tax statements which states my gross pay, and the amount of taxes deducted.
