On a somewhat-related note: this is why you get secondary, non-work-sponsored health insurance. It seems as though her insurance will be up soon, as her job is ending, and she won't have any coverage.
The Facebook group states that they've got enough blood for now, and are just looking for contact info of doners now, in case they need more. |

If anyone knows of this kind of insurance for expats that covers preexisting conditions please share. In general, people who have an IBD like hers and are in such a severe condition have had it for years, and it makes it tough to stay covered with no exclusions if one is moving all over the world. |
