Hey, everyone.

I recently rented an apartment and after moving in, I noticed there's no fire extinguisher in my room or in the hallways. I know back in the states it's required by law in certain places to have a fire extinguisher (at least in the hallway outside of your apartment), but I don't know if it's the same here.

Is the landlord required to provide one in apartments?

Thanks for your help!

I've never had to deal with a fire (knock on wood), but if something were to happen I'd be screwed. Better safe than sorry Smile I'll give him a ring today and see what goes on. I'm not sure if it's a law here, though. It wouldn't surprise me if it's not required.
