|
|
Last time I got an E2 in March 2011, I was able to submit a CRC on RCMP letterhead without a fingerprint check. It was just a name-based search. Has anyone recently succeeded in getting an E2 using a CRC on a name-based search?
Thanks in advance |

| I think in 2012 my friend did a cbc without the fingerprint by going to a police station. |

| Right. I know you can get a name-search check done easily. I'm just wondering if anyone has - within the past couple months - gotten Korean immi to accept a name-search based CRC for an E2. |

I'm curious about this as well.
I just got a new CRC done and it was name-based, but they do check it against the RCMP's national database. |

| I just called the consulate here in Ottawa and they said that you only need a name/DOB-based CRC. It has to be checked using the RCMPs national database. You don't need VS. |
