Searched everywhere on the web and the information seems dated, or people don't really have a definitive answer. I contacted Stars and they claimed it was legal, but does anyone REALLY know?

| Who knows but pokerstars is is there only major site which isn't blocked I believe. Maybe something to do with them sponsoring the Seoul leg of the World Poker Tour....As a foreigner you are allowed to gamble tho I wouldn't worry |

IIRC, as a foreigner you're allowed to gamble in Korea in approved venues; to wit, the casinos. A few years ago, some foreigners, again IIRC, in Korea got arrested for gambling on poker. |
