This so sucks, but Korean Air, Asiana and Jeju Air will either cut the number of or stop operating direct flights to Vietnam from next month, according to the Korean-language article linked below.

Jeju Air will stop flying to Vietnam, and the article says filling its flights to Ho Chi Minh was a problem. |

Never been there, but I have heard that it is taking quite a bit of business from Thailand. I've heard that more and more backpackers are starting to go to Vietnam and at the same time avoid places like Khao San in Bangkok, which is really touristy now. |

I like Vietnam, though I do admit Thailand is more fun. Nha Trang is one of the best travel deals I've had. |
