I find if I say "I'm not angry at you...it's the situation" (maybe more than once), it reassures your Korean handler. And asking your handler to agree with you "Gee, the landlord is really stupid, isn't he?" helps. Just because someone knows the language doesn't mean they understand all of the cultural nuances of a rant! Smile

Chances are, he's not thinking you're angry, he's just thinking you're

another whiney waygookin who complains about everything.
