Ya Ya anymore info on that beer garden at Rennaissance Hotel? Seoul is severely lacking in quality beer gardens. And is it ' all you can eat/drink'?
As far as brazilian steakhouses go mercados in Apgujung is the nutz! 32,000 I think. |

| The Foreign Restaurant off of Itaewon is pretty decent for Indian food. I don't remember how much it is, but I think it's relatively inexpensive. |
Err to each their own but I wasn't satisfied. Would rather do a la carte elsewhere.
|
The Foreign Restaurant is not and never has been a favorite on this forum, but I used to go there all the time. |
I've had bad service every time I went. First time, a few years ago, I sat waiting for... 10-15 minutes for the server to swing on by and ask for drinks or anything. This week, decided to give it another try - entered, stood for almost 5 minutes while (what appeared to be) staff chatted someone up.. hoping to get seated, and nothing. So I walked out again. |

The service isn't great and the food is nothing special. It's just easy to find with a great location. There are plenty of better Indian restaurants/buffets in the area. |

| Does anyone know a decent place that has hummus on the buffet? The Foreign Restaurant and Marakech (sp?) Nights has hummus, but aside from that there aren't any dishes I really like. |

I've been to a few buffets arounf Seoul like Ashley, Todai, etc but by far and away the best one is 'The Mixed One' by Edward Kwon near Seohyeon Stn. in Bundang.
The range and quality of the food was great and yeah they had hummus!
It's about w32,000 for lunch if I remember correctly. Not sure about dinner. I would also recommend making a reservation as that place was packed! |

I think there is a dino meat around my house.
Can 1 person eat there or do they have a 2+ person rule? |

I agree with the Brazilian places. Carne Do Brazil (Itaewon and Gangnam) and Copacabana (Itaewon) are also great. |
Tabom is my favourite too, with Copacabana coming a very close second. I have to say, though, that I really hate Carne Do Brazil. They gave my friends and I one round of each of the meat, but very quickly they started coming around less and less, such that I had to get up more than once and track down the wait staff. Even then, they sometimes took a long time to come by. I will never go back there. |

Agreed. And not just 'quality' beer gardens, but ANY beer gardens. Seriously, I haven't even found a beer garden in Korea. Do they exist? |
