A big perk at my job in China is that I get both Korean and Chinese holidays off from work. You guys got today off as well?

Not me, although I don't really care since I like my class today.

Yep. Nice, leisurely day off. Laughing Nice weather, things are starting to heat up!

Why would the Chinese also give Korean holidays off?

Okay, how'd you manage that? Are you working for the Korean consulate? Seriously, I'm checking jobs in the more cosmopolitan cities for a Korean friend and would love to know what jobs carry both countries' holidays.

Would normally it off, except I'm in the USA on a project and got screwed. Americans don't give a damn about Buddha.

International schools. Korean school in his case.

Yep, what newb said. It's nice too, in that the Chinese have to make up days on the weekend for their holidays that fall during the week; I don't. We don't always get the extra days for Chinese holidays, but at least get the official day/days. Mid-Autumn Festival and Chuseok tend to be around the same time. Last year we got the whole week off and will get the same this year. How about you guys and Chuseok this year, whole week?
