I am graduating from university soon and am looking towards the possibility of teaching English in Korea. I've done a ton of research and am growing to like the idea more and more, and have even contacted a company that was advertising on a local job board called 'Clover Recruiting'.
My question is this: has anyone heard of Clover Recruiting? Are they reputable? Should I be wary of anything regarding this, or any other, recruiters?

Don't worry about any single recruiter - unless you find out one is particluarly bad. Most recruiters work for the school or business looking for a worker, not for you. (There are some who work for the job seeker, usually for high level professionals.)
You should use as many recruiters as you need to find the job you want, as many as you can handle. Use the ones you like and dump the ones you don't.
Recruiters are like used car salesmen, working on commission: you are the used car being sold, the school is the customer with the cash. The recruiter will sell whatever he can to the customer, and you are just a commodity.

I agree. Keep in mind that recruiting agencies have access to different schools and different school contracts. That's one of the reasons why you should contact many agencies rather than one.
Public school job search is a bit different in that while there are different recruiting agencies, if you file for a GEPIK public school positions with one agency, there is no need to do so again with another agency, since that may actually invalidate your application.
Then again, you do have GEPIK, EPIK, MOE, POE, GNOE, ... the list goes on ^^ |

| I dealt with Clover for a bit. They weren't bad, they weren't great. Rachel works for the schools. Do your homework. |

| They worked very hard to find a job for me. I guess everyone can have different experience. My only advice is that you should choose a job for the job, not for your recruiter. |
