I will finish my contract in July, and I am looking forward to a second year in Korea at a new job.

I'm currently at a hagwon, but I'd like a job with some more vacation time and lighter work load.

I recently discovered, however, that EPIK/GEPIK require a new set of documents and won't transfer my E2/D10 without them. My original documents are here in Korea with me, and getting it all put together remotely to America would be tremendously time consuming or expensive (or both).

Besides EPIK/GEPIK and the typical 10-days-vacation hagwon, what are the possible jobs that have lighter workload (less than 30 contact hours) and more vacation (around 2 or 4 weeks)?

Is there a possibility of working for individual public schools without new documents?

And what about my perfectly valid documents collecting dust in an Immigration filing cabinet?

It's not that expensive, but it's definitely going to take a while. I doubt you will have enough time by July to collect all those documents again. What are your qualifications? Start looking for a another job right now, but you may be screwed on the vacation time unless you do get that public school or uni job.

ummm.... leave your options open?

Order new documents in case you do land a PS job. Spend the $200. One weekend at home (to save the cash) won't hurt that much.

Get a D10 when you finish your current job so you can transfer to a hagwon if you don't find a PS job.

Consider the beach (Thailand or the Philippines) for a couple months and line up for a job in March at a PS or uni.
