Well we know that you don't like smokers. As for chewing gum at the interview, what if the person just forgets that he's chewing gum. Good hiring practices for teachers will not throw out the babies with the bath water.

The pickings are not slim, just don't be EPIK/GEPIK and a whole host of other Korean schools looking for something like "the right stuff" when they don't have a clue as to how to get the right stuff or what it is. EPIK/GEPIK don't even know what makes a good interview or when an interviewee is basically good.
