Meat and vegetables, cooked at home.

The problem is the restaurants open so damn late here, I eat at 6-7am. On the weekends there is a kimchi-chigae joint down the street, they also make a mean plate of pork and onions.

When in Korea it varied. I prefer just fruit and oatmeal on some mornings but would also eat a more typical Korean breakfast (fish, soup, rice...).

Depends who's asking. If it's a Korean I simply say, "oh, usually a hamburger or pizza with a can of coke - sometimes both."

Their responses are priceless. Very Happy

Where can one find oatmeal in Korea? Gangneung is about 25 mins by bus. I doubt I'll be able to find it here, in Jumunjin. Can't seem to find it on gmarket. Any help appreciated!

they have the flavored quaker oatmeal ( maple sugar, cinnamon , raisin spice etc) at costco.

during cold seasons I eat oatmeal.

Normally i just eat bread , pastries or toast with a glass of orange or cranberry juice ( or both mixed together). Sometimes fruit like pinapple or clemetines/mandarines.

Sometimes I'll eat musliks with plain yogurt OR a full western style breakfast like eggs , toasts, crepes , bacon etc...

Once in a while I have to eat the korean breakfast ( rice , soup , meat , fish , veggies and fruit.. ) Rarely though.

I alternate between Lucky charms, cinnamon toast crunch, and honey nut cheerios. Bacon and eggs is nice but that stuff is terrible for your cholesterol. I dont want to end up like some elders in my family did.

I had a chicken burrito today. Other days I have the already-mentioned muesli or a baked quesadilla filled with refried beans, salsa, and cheese.

Flavored coffee and junk food from the convenience stores. Occasionally Bibimbop from the all nighter greasy spoon café in the town where I used to teach at.

If I get up early enough I make fired eggs and a piece of toast. I was going to Dunkin Donuts every day for a while there but I started to get sick of it.

If I wake up late I'll just hit up a store and pick up some junk food but that makes me feel like crap for the rest of the day. My body must be getting more sensitive about the food I put in it.
