I know there is an expiry date for the CRC, but is there also one for a notarized(apostilled for Yanks) copy of your diploma?
Last summer I planned to head back to Korea, but changed my mind. I'm currently in the process of getting all my documents together in hopes of teaching in Korea again and found my an old copy of my diploma. It has already been notarized by a lawyer(June 2012) and been stamped by the Korean embassy in Vancouver (June 2012).

Think I could save a few bucks and resend this copy of my diploma? Would I resend it to the Korean Embassy along with the CRC?

My old one from 2011 worked this year. I needed a new CBC, though.

If you have one on file already you don't need to submit a new one.

Just before I was to head off to the post office to send my documents to the Korean Embassy I decided to give them a phone call to confirm that the old copy of my diploma which was notarized in 2012 would be ok.

Like I stated in the OP, I sent all my documents in last year, but had a change of heart before accepting a job. The notarized copy of my diploma has a stamp from the Consulate General on it from 2012.

When I called the embassy, they said the diploma needs to have been notarized within the last 6 months. I tried to explain that it's the same copy that has been used before. They said it up to immigration in Korea. They also asked if it was for teaching in public school or hagwon. Not sure why they asked that.

What do you think? Should I fire it off and hope for the best? Or pay the expense to have another copy notarized? I want all this done ASAP.
