Legally no.

You wish to discuss the OP working illegally mixx, thats you call. I won't.

She can work legally as a non native speaker if she holds an F6 or F5 visa.

She didn't ask for specifics or give us all her info.

I just provided the answer for the question she asked.

Even if its illegal, a simple yes and we can leave it at that.

No need to discuss it.

I don't want to break your heart MiXX, but did I really sound like a damsel in distress? because as far as I know, I'm a man...

Anyway, I'm of course looking to teach legally wherever I would be allowed to, so I guess all that is left to me is to curse fate that had me be born in France.

We definitely should not discuss how to work illegaly; as teachers, we represent moral and integrity in the classroom, so we just can't cheat our way in - I'd personally feel extremely uneasy.

So what are those F5/6 visas you're mentioning?

No idea about the other places you named.

F6, married to a Korean.
F5, permanent resident.

You MIGHT find a job teaching French (legally) but they are few and far between.

There are lots of countries around the planet where you can get legal work.
Don't make your decision on the base salary alone. Look at 2 key issues, quality of living and SAVINGS.

That job that you can't get in Korea job paying 2.2 million won /month will allow most people to save about $8k Euros/year.

A job in China where you can earn 10k RMB/month, in most regions of China, will let you do the same and you will have a much higher standard of living in comparison to Korea.

A job in Thailand paying 45-50k thb will get you a nice, 3 bedroom house, a decent standard of living (you won't be playing with the expat executive crowd but you won't be hanging out with the Khao San Road back-packers either) and still allow you to save 6k EUR/year (unless you fall in love - G/F's anywhere eat up the savings in a hurry).
