So I just had my first interview with a recruiter there and he told me that I do actually qualify for public school jobs. Up until now I thought I would only be eligible for private school so I've been focusing on those. He recruits for an area south of Seoul, but I've my heart set on Busan. If I find it too difficult to find a position there I'm happy to go elsewhere, but I was wondering who are the best people to contact for Busan public school positions. I just sent my resume to WorknPlay Consulting. Anyone any other ideas?

I understand that public school placement could send me anywhere, but the vacation time and job security are a big consideration.

Any help appreciated.

Hey, I used Korean Horizons. It's ran by a man named Alistair who is a good man. I'd say he specializes in Busan and Changwon area. Make sure you have your sh*t together because if you show a trail of ignorance, he knows when to drop you and to stop wasting his time.

Alistair is great. I've heard both good and bad reviews, but if you know your stuff and interview well, he'll bend over backwards for you, and won't just ditch you once you start. He helped me with other stuff my first year in Korea, and the only thing he had to gain was praise and word-of-mouth advertising.
