A Seoul court fined Hackers Academia, one of the countrys largest private English language institutes, and its officials 82 million won for stealing TOEIC questions, Thursday.
Hackers TOEIC and TEPS (Test of English proficiency developed by Seoul National University) study books have enjoyed huge popularity among students and the conviction reflects that they used stolen questions to write their content.

They pirated the questions for four years from 2007, and used them in creating their test books and lecture material.
The questions were also uploaded on the website of the institute. |
