Hey, too hot. Need pool. Does anyone know of a hotel in Seoul that allows people to pay to use their outdoor pool for one time day use without having to rent a room?
I know about the Hamilon and the Dragon Hill Spa, but am looking for other options.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Imperial palace hotel nearby Hakdong station and Gangnam-gu Office. Used to be 60,00 for the day, could have gone up. Doesn't get a great deal of sun and it's pretty small but you can keep cooler there.
Also, I paid to use the pool at Hyatt in Itaewon but that was a good few years ago and Im not sure of the price now.
Generally if you're willing to pay enough you can use most of the hotel pools. Banyan tree no longer allows it though, which is a shame because their pool is the nicest. But it just got totally swamped with Korean families. Honestly if I was paying their prices to be staying there it'd have really annoyed me.
Oh, there's also a pool at the Walkerhill, no clue about how much it is or when it opens though, sorry.
You could always wait it out a few weeks until the pools at the Han river open. They're on the banks of the river at several places, big but do get crowded, only a few thousand won to go in though. |

Hamilton Hotel Itaewon. Not too expensive and probably the classiest joint in town. |

20,000 won is pretty expensive by my standards. Sure, it seems cheap compared to the pool at a five star hotel, but that's like comparing the tough-as-nails, flavourless steak at Outback to a dry-aged premium T-bone at a proper steakhouse. |
