I like how posts in this thread can be broken into three categories:

1) OP's posts.

2) Sarcastic responses.

3) Oblivious responses to sarcastic responses.

Source?

I've visited a lot of kids' hagwons over the past year. Some make the food, some have it delivered. But all of them served food to their children. I'd actually love to know what requirements they have to meet. There's nothing in the Hagwon Act about food.

MoE told me when I got my teaching/business licence.

Maybe the confusions is because the kindergartens have hagwons attached to them. The kindergarten is allowed to serve food, but not the hagwon maybe.

The reason for the "No family members working together" law is for this exact reason. When family members cook for each other they dont mind about hairs etc. SO they need a law that way hairs dont get into the food.

Yep I'm sure that was their exact thinking process when coming up with that law!!!! Laughing

Also LOL at that no food in Hagwons claim! I know tons that do; hell, we don't serve lunch here but we still get em a bit of fast food in if they've been good, at the end of term and that. But I know of several Hagwons that have dedicated lunch setups...
