Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this situation, as I am giving in my notice today, to work 2 months, and then leave. My plan is to travel for a bit, head to the UK, and then head back out here in a few months. I've had enough of my school, as have most of the foreign teachers, who are mainly all quitting with me.
Do you think that getting a new contract out here will be harder because of this, I have nigh on 2 years experience in Korea, and don't want to shoot myself in the foot in terms of coming back. |

Dont list it on your resume and it will be a non issue.
Outside of getting a criminal record (in korea or your home country) or violating immigration policies you have nothing to worry about. |

Agreed. However, would it not be true that if applying for a government position, for example EPIK, they would be able to see his previous visas or work history? |

For the most part Immigration will not care. To them it will be just another E2 visa application. Regardless if its your first time or fourth.
Only a crime or immigration infringement would cause alarm in which your school would be notified. |

Without a letter of release you probably won't be able get another job until your contract end date. Immigration is pretty strict about that these days. Also keep in mind that future employers may request the contact information of a previous employer. |
