Hi all,

Im an F6 visa holder and applying for a job in a different MOE. Im being told by the recruiter that I need a new apostilled CRC and apostilled diploma from my home country. However, I havent even been to my home country since I first came to Korea so its quite frustrating!

I saw on one thread that it is possible to get verified copies of your docs on record from immigration. How would I go about getting these verified copies issued? Would they be acceptable for the new MOE since I (my wife) own my own visa and I havent gone back home since I came here? Or is there any other route that I can take that avoids my family in the UK having to run around getting new documents legalised for me, deapite me not having set foot in the UK since I submitted them the first time when I came here?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Since you are an F6 then you need to supply originals to MOE. I do not think old certified copies from immigration will do. The copies from immigration are usually for those that have an E2 visa. You can try submitting the copies.

I will say in the end you will likely need to get new documents. Maybe you can avoid having family run around by using express mail and paying more money to various people.

Also stop expecting logic. Yes, you have not been back home to commit a crime, but this is a red tape and legal issue. You want a job, then you will have to jump through the hoops provided.

My American friend has not been to the U.S in over 7 years but he has to submit a CRC every year. The Koreans believe he has the magic ability to physically transport himself to America so he can secretly commit crimes without anyone knowing about it. Rolling Eyes
