The average crime rate in suburban or working classes in Korea and the US is pretty similar.
The major difference is that Korea lacks anything like the poor neighborhoods in the US that have rampant crime, especially violent crime, as well as youth gangs.
Going to prison isn't seen as a mark of respect in Korea. |
