Back in the day Bruce Willis was a decent actor. Some of his movies were very entertaining, and he had a certain charm. Those days are long gone. He doesn't have that flair anymore, and his movies are terrible. In recent years it's been one turkey after another. Is he so hard up for cash that he's signing up for any piece of garbage. And why is he still being selected for lead roles.

He really needs to stop making movies - at least really, really bad ones.

Bruce Willis is the man and deserves some get out of jail free cards. Looper was good, I thought Moonrise Kingdom was a piece of trash (because Wes Anderson hipsters me out) but it got good ratings, Red and Surrogates were alright, great random role in What Just Happened, and those are the only ones I think I've seen from his IMDB page of late. I'm sure there are an equal number of bad one's on there but we're talking about Butch Coolidge and John McClane here, dawg. Hudson Hawk, son!

Plus he dug out Demi Moore in her prime then dumped her on that douche Ashton Kutcher right before she went insane... then started sticking a former playmate of the year. Bruce Willis = best bald action hero ever, he's a great actor, and he's funny as hell if you see him in interviews. His best work is behind him but he deserves a pass.

He has certainly been in a mixed bag of movies of late. I think the one's where the movie gets a good rating he's normally just a bit part (Moonrise Kingdom). Looper is the exception, although I thought it was vastly over-rated. A lot of his recent movies have been questionable choices at best. Rotten Tomatoes gives the following approval rating:

G.I. Joe: Retaliation = 28%
A Good Day to Die Hard = 14%
The Cold Light of Day = 5%
Fire with Fire = 8%
Lay the Favorite = 19%
Cop Out = 19%

I'm at the point where if he's in the movie I simply don't want to see it.

And that smirk. How many more years must we endure the smirk?

Confused

Yip! I would act, and sing, and jump around, and entertain if I new I could get bags full of money for it. And I wouldn't care how many people made fun of me.

I've known of people doing worse for much less. Laughing
