Rofpo, thanks for the link. I've been laughing out loud since I started reading. The dude has some talents.

Recommended.

I used to read expat hell all the time because I thought it was funny and well-written, though the occasional ignorance bothered me (check out the mentions of Down's Syndrome earlier on), and I gradually came to realize that it depressed me. The author seems to hate living here more than anything, and claims to be wealthy, and yet only leaves on brief vacations to Thai sleazepits. If it's so horrible here, and if you're so rich, why don't you go somewhere nicer? He's welcome to hate this place, and I agree with a lot of his complaints, but there is actually more to Korea than the vomit in Itaewon.

I think the purpose of that blog is to write about the worst of Korea. I've been reading for a few years and never really saw it as complaining. Also much of it is made up, but that's is why it is entertaining.
There are tons of k-love blogs you can read, but in the end I think they are delusional or lying even more.

Without a doubt. In fact it's a nice balancing act to the Marmot's Hole. Confused
