Has anyone ever used their sick days during winter or summer camp? I wonder if one is not able to use sick days in those days because the camps are "mandatory"

IF you mean at a public school... and you have a doctor's note (legitimately sick) then it is usually a non-issue.

If you take "personal" sick days then you can pretty much be assured that your tenure at the school will be short and probably not very sweet.
