I keep hearing words like, "consequences" and "punishment", and I'm still perplexed. The concept of hitting children with hard, wooden objects is completely lost on me, I don't get it and it's medieval. And I don't know why this conversation continues to go on. I'm surprised that so many adults on here condone hitting kids on the ass and striking them with hard objects, what an absurd idea.

The short version is,

Its illegal in korea to hit adults and children.
its probably illegal in the other english speaking countires that can obtain E2 visas.
So wether you like it or not, want to hit kids or adults, drive your car at exessive speeds, get married to 3 women, steal from the corner shop, you cant becasue its illegal.

Just accept it and join an mma gym instead If you want to hit people and see how it feels to be hit back.

Some on here seem to think it's the height of intellectual discourse to debate CP.

/shrug

Me, I think it's an infringement on my rights (and my child's), and take the discussion seriously.

Actually its the police's business.

Its illegal for you to hit a defenseless child, including your own.

By all means, if you think I've broken any laws, try to report me. As I've already stated - you have no idea what goes on in my home - and that's how I like it. You're obviously not someone I'd socialize with in person. And your new lame attempt to try to turn this into me abusing my child is pathetic.

Try reading what I've actually written.

Actually, according the the criminal code of Canada, it's not illegal to use a small stick or your hand for a spanking. But many provincial social workers will try to interfere and limit it and harass loving families while neglecting the real child abuse. By real abuse, I mean locking kids in a closet or housing them in a cage, not feeding them, etc. Why more people in Canada only complain about it instead of rising up to challenge it is beyond me.
