Well, not just sides notes, but notes so tangential they are more like seven degrees of separation notes.

I am talking about Fleur Pellerin, France's First Korean-Born Minister, who I discovered while reading this,

"Asiana crash a point of national shame for Koreans"
http://www.sfgate.com/news/world/article/Asiana-crash-a-point-of-national-shame-for-Koreans-4654276.php

I was surprised I had missed mention of her before, given the Korean media's obsession of ethnic Koreans making it big elsewhere.(Hines Ward, for example). Not that I have a problem with that.

I did a search on Dave's which turned up nothing on her. But Google had this from Arirang. She is not only intelligent, but quite attractive too.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3VcNSrKWo24

One of the banners that runs across the screen states that "She dreams of being a bridge between France and her nation of birth", but she doesn't really say it like that in the interview -she says "perhaps" she could bring the two countries closer. She makes it clear she considers herself French.

Has anyone else heard of her?

I haven't but if she's an adopted-out baby then she'll have to do quite a bit more than minister for small-business of Socialist government of France. Expats overseas, gyopos in K, adopted-out babies, yuhaksaeng (studied overseas), draft-dodgers, i-se (2nd gen) etc all face 'you are not 100%' to some degree.

Well, yeah, I think she is. But to each his own. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Check out this one.

She's not bad looking. Not great. Kind of like Sandra Oh. Hot body, but a face that may take time to develop a taste for.

Those are weird angle photos. She looks like a diplodocus with a super small head.

Well, I will admit that she looks better in some pictures than others, but hey, she's 40 years old. What can I say, I like her. You guys are probably younger than me, and thus go for the young babes fresh out of college! But if your spouse looks as good as she does at 40, consider yourself lucky!

I do believe you spelled that offensive word incorrectly.

Probably, but these days I'm too sick to care. There, I'm officially a cranky old man.

Don't think she is half-Korean. She was adopted though.
