Flights to North America this summer are super expensive. I can't find a flight to the north-east for under 2,400,000 won. A friend is going to Ottawa and is paying 2,500,000 return.

Has anyone found significantluy cheaper flights to New York?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Try Emirates Airline and route through Dubai for about 2 million won (return) on their A380 and you can try Quatar for similar pricing ICN to JKF (mid July dates).

Traveling at the height of the summer peak is never going to be cheap.
3rd week of Sept and the prices fall by just about 1/2 on some airlines.

I haven't used this site yet, but they have great prices. A friend has used it and was happy with it.

Always start shopping for your tickets 3-5 months in advance, especially if you're flying during the high season.

Thanks very much. There seem to be some great deals on that site.

Cheers.

^ Correction.
The site is useless. There are plenty of flights "available" on their website, but when you contact them it's always, "Oh, that flight is no longer available." Then why the hell does it appear on their webpage when you enter your flight data? Frustrating and a waste of valuable time.

Sorry about that. As I said, I haven't used it myself.

not a great price but better than 2,500,000
