Plugging my weekly 40, aside from taking a little time off during the week of August 5th through 9th. That said, very little work comes across my desk in July and August, so it's no biggie.

My after school schedule flips so I'm gonna have to start waking up super early starting next week. Not looking forward to that. I'll finish at like 1 or something like that, but ehhh. Week after next I get a much needed week vacation. I'd blow my money in the Phils if I didn't have some nagging b!tch watching one of my classes once a week and passive aggressively threatening me as of late. I've had after school jobs slip out from under me twice and this is definitely my last job in this country so I'll have to downgrade to a Korean beach Confused Save the spoils for when I fly out of here to Colombia then work my way back home not envying the times when children used to poke me in the ass.

This week I'll be teaching a writing class for grade 3 middle school girls (two hours instruction then an hour at my desk correcting their work, home by lunch).

Seven girls signed up. Nice kids, bright, they've been my students for two years now. I met them yesterday to explain the course & I asked them why they chose it. One girl raises her hand. "Because I love you." Another pipes in: "No, he's mine!"

I love them all too & they know it [disclaimer: I'm 60]. I have a sweet job. Then three weeks vacation, to be cut back to two next summer.
