The wife and I are planning a trip to the US with our daughter in December/January.
She does not qualify for the VWP because of a shady broker who screwed over her whole family about 10 years ago.
We're in the process of applying for a visa, but I'm at a stage where I need to choose which visa (spouse visa or temp business/tourism visa) we're shooting for.
We don't want to move/live there, but will it look strange if she's a spouse and we don't apply for the spousal visa?
Any tips? |

Typically, if you apply for a tourist visa she (and you) will need to show that she WON'T try to change her status after arrival in the States and will return to Korea.
Proof of continued employment (contracts), student enrollment for your child, assets in Korea, etc. are usually what is required.
