In the US, I had been getting pain in the right leg. Went to an orthopedic specialist and found out that I had a herniated disc, and it was hitting the nerve that goes down my right leg. Interestingly enough, there was hardly any pain in the back itself.

I had surgery in late-March (still in the US), and the pain in the right leg was gone. But I've had pain in the lower back ever since. I've been to physical therapy in the US for about 2 months after the surgery.

I've been in Korea since early June, and the pain in the lower back persists. I'm thinking of seeing a physical therapist here in Seoul, even though I'll be returning to the US in late August. Would like some relief.

About me: I'm a gyopo, and I'm here on a F-4 visa. I'm never here for over 90 days at a time, so I haven't bothered getting an ARC. I don't have health insurance here (I do in the US).

I'm looking for a physical therapist closest to me -- I'm in Shinchon, near the Ewha University subway station -- preferably one who speaks English. I'm studying Korean at Sogang, but my speaking ability is still crap.

Any info would be appreciated.

Isn't there a chiropractor in Iteawon? I seem to recall someone mentioning it. As well, I seem to recall a guy recommending one on this forum a month or so back (I have two herniated disks as well, mate).

Try to search the forum a bit.
