Every household in the UK is to have pornography blocked by their internet provider unless they choose to receive it, David Cameron has announced.
In addition, the prime minister said possessing online pornography depicting rape would become illegal in England and Wales - in line with Scotland.
The new measures will apply to both existing and new customers.
In a speech, Mr Cameron warned that we have been neglecting our responsibility to children.

Rather shocked I haven't seen this on Dave's. Stop watching baby news and pay attention to your freedoms being swept from under you! |

| Why surprised? After years here, I learned that Brits tend to know/care more about US politics than their own. |

The UK government are constantly trying to strip away our freedoms, and succeeding
Even though the US government seem as bad as ours, one thing I admire about their people is a strong sense of freedom and the desire to protect personal liberties from government legislation. |

Great time to buy shares in a porn shop!
Also, watch the spike in sexual crimes in the UK if this does happen! |

I don't have a problem with it. Adults just have to inform their Internet providers.
Should make some interesting conversations between husband and wife though. |

TSA
NSA
Lack of real healthcare
I just named a few major ones, feel free to add others - that's how much Americans "care" for their liberties. It's only their guns that really do care about.
As for the UK, it seems in line with what TV stations have to do. BUT, the idea that they can block a site from another region as a porn site is an extremely unpleasant thought, after seeing that happen in Korea.
Some gym forums got blocked for me because they have a "sexy workout" section! F*** that. |
