do you need to go to a gu-office or can you drop by any police station and ask them to make out a korean police check?

You should probably go to a gu-office since the smaller stations will tell you to go there. The smaller units do have the equipment to do it, but they follow protocol and send people to the larger stations where there is more administrative staff to take care of those types of needs. |

Main Gu Police Station- not to be confused with the local police box, dong-office or Gu-office. |
