Hi.

One of the requirements for teaching on Korea through this program is to have an associate's degree. In Ontario, Canada we don't use the term associate's degree, so I was wondering if a 2 or 3 year diploma program is the same thing. I don't know where I should contact about this question so I was wondering if anyone here had either had the same question or knows where I should go to find the answer. Thanks a ton!!

I would just call the TALK office and ask! I would imagine that they have already investigated the Canadian degree levels and made the appropriate decisions.

I contacted the Korean Education Centre offices, which is what TaLK runs through for Canadian applicants, and in case anyone had the same questions as I, yes, my diploma is a sufficient amount of education Smile.

Ideally I'd love to finish getting my degree and go through EPIK or GEPIK, but that will push going to Korea back another two years. I still might but at least I have the option to go earlier if I want to (and I want to lol).

Thanks for the suggestion!
