I find it pathetic that certain forum members feel the desperate need to go around insulting you when you've done nothing to them, just cos they don't like or agree with your post. They're they ones who would never dare do that in person, so they do it eagerly, "invisibly" because they so desperately want that chance. It's cowardly and also speaks volumes about their inadequacies and how they want to fill that void and low self esteem and need to feel manly cos they aren't.

Especially so when they have "macho" sounding usernames likening themselves to warriors and other strong masculine figures etc. Haha! They are....

And they want for you to read their posts/messages so desperately its really sad. They seem to crave recognition so much. It's like they never got any. They are....

I wonder if any other forum members have had the ugly experience of being insulted by these null and voiders who cowardly insult you without personal provocation and how you deal with them?

Job discussion is pretty tame and generally amenable. But off topic and general are just filled with super angry people.

I don't know, that's my feeling at least. Everyone's entitled to their opinion and it's fine if they kept the discussion on the issue, but at least on Dave's I find some people take it rather personally.

Example, I made a post once (on a different account) about Corporal Punishment. Some guy PMed me telling me to die and that if he ever found me he would kill me, etc. Now, I didn't say something like "CHILDREN DESERVE BEATINGS" it was a very double sided look extolling the virtues and negatives of CP or Not CP, and factoring cultural differences. I said something like "You need to understand CP in it's cultural context and how it developed in congruence to Confucianism."

Since then I just stopped on any controversial issue on general. You can even see it when that fake video of the woman abused in the club was posted. I have no idea why that attracted so much attention either. But you can see how clearly people have full meter super gauge rage about issues.

People general, are pretty insecure. Which is fine, but it seems this forum has become this insecurity spewing channel instead of a Korean informative site. Majority of the posts are people complaining about something that they can't deal with.

There is a war raging between the apologist and anti-apologist camps on the gen discussion/off topic forums. Obviously someone mistook you for one of the camp members. If and when that happens, tell that person 'I'm not alighted with the apologist/anti-apologist camp'. With any luck, they'll stop bothering you^^

Well, OP. Judging by your condescending tone, you seem to think you are better than other posters. That back story about people insulting you because they are sad, desperate, inadequate and cowardly reflects a lot about you.

If people on this board are upsetting you you should think about why. Why does it matter to you what they say? You'll most likely never see these people. They're most likely miserable human beings also. The earth is full of fools and every fool on earth is on the internet.

They're insignificant.
