And this is why I laugh when people whine about South Koreans spending too much time and effort worrying about their physical appearance.. It sure as hell beats the alternative |

Ah, the human race. The never-ending fountain of weird.
It doesn't mitigate any problems people might experience in Korea, but it sure is fascinating in a train-wreck kind of way. |

Wal-Mart is something every non-American should experience at least once. |

I agree with that. It's just one of those things that if you haven't seen it for yourself, then you should. That goes the same for E-mart (for different reasons obviously). Every non-Korean should experience it. |

E-mart is tame compared to Walmart. People watching at walmart is great. I feel uppity when I tell people I prefer Target. |

My comment on E-mart has nothing to do with people watching. Wal-Mart is special in that respect for sure. E-mart has other qualities that make it a "special" shopping experience. |

You talking about how people block aisles with carts and run in to people? Luckily I've only been hit once by a cart. And it was by a woman who was handling two wild little kids. So didn't really phase me. |

You make your own conclusions on that, as I see you have already. |

Why are you even posting in this thread if you're not going to say what the special qualities at Emart are? |

Obviously those are some things that stand out at Emart. You already figured that out. Move along now. |
