Hi Dave's ESL,

You guys seem like a very resourceful group, so I'm seeing if I could get any help here. I've been selected (was selected last week Friday) to plan our company's dinner for this Wednesday. I figured it would be easy to find a place, but it hasn't been. Our group is rather large: ~ 35 people.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for (a.) a place to eat near/around Yongsan that could accommodate (budget roughly 50,000/person) and (b.) some kind of fun social activity for said group size.

Again, it's for this Wednesday, a night, I'm sure, full of company parties. As you call tell, I'm desperate, so any tips/suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks much.

Sincerely,
~Clueless~

Go someplace that is 30k per person and use the remainder to either buy the boss a fancy bottle of liquor or kick it to the post-dinner noraebang fund.

Sorry to say, but anything that would make a good impression is going to take more than a day or two to put together by a good hospitality team. A party of 35 is REALLY tough to take care of without careful planning.

There are places that I know that could possibly help, but not in the time frame you've given.

You might be able to convince one of the Brazilian steak joints in Itaewon to take on your party. Steak and unlimited draft beer for 50,000/head would work, but again...a party of 35 takes time for purchasing and prep.

Sucks that you were put in that position.
