Now that Alexander Flaming Funguson has retired, there's no point in it, I'm afraid. Menchasers United can win all the trophies, for all I care. The 'Special One'... is just not that hate-able enough. Very Happy

I'm up for it again. Perhaps we could add a small wager this time to keep everybody interested until the end.

Can we backdate the wager? Everyone could send me some money for winning last season. I was so happy that I told everyone at work. They all asked how much money I won.

Who set it up last year? Are they still around?

Ouch! What a burn! You sure showed us. I'm not sure I'll be able to go on living after that cutting remark.
Now *beep* off and let the big boys talk.

Alright. The situation on Dave's has been kinda grim lately between the apologist and basher camps. We need something like this to break down alliances and draw new lines in the sand.

As an American, who grew up on College Football Saturdays and poured weeks worth of energy into following the Detroit Liedowns, I gotta say that EPL rules. And if you are any kind of sports fan you gotta take your skill at Fantasy American Football and go up against those Commonwealthers.

Football (Soccer) IS a beautiful game. And Americans who can't appreciate it suck.

I've just set up the league again. For newbies here's how to join:

1. Go to http://fantasy.premierleague.com
2. Set up a team (it's free).
3.Click the "Leagues" tab at the top.
4. Click the "join a league"
5. Click "join private league"
6. Enter this code-

1331002-303044

You have to pick a team to join a league. Obviously the transfer window's in full swing so at this stage spending hours building a team around the likes of Ricky van Wolfswinkel -only for him to be shipped off in a big-money move to Accrington Stanley the next day- is not advised. But fortunately there's an auto-select button. You can make unlimited free transfers until the first ball is kicked.

We can discuss potential wagers at a later date, but if you just want to play for fun that's fine.

With regards the USA/UK footie banter, thought this was quite funny:

Once again I'm the only one stupid enough to use my real name, like an idiotic burberry man exposing his flacid *beep* in the cool summer breeze. Embarassed

And I'll see your shrimp chips and raise you a teachers' meal.
