How long/far is the drive from Wonju to Osan or Pyeongtaek?

My guess would be one hour, but I wanted to hear from someone who has done or regularly does this drive.

The drive depends largely on traffic and road construction. I just drove from the Pyeongtaek-Suwon area last week and it took almost 2 hours because of the traffic delays. Under "normal" driving circumstances your 1 hour estimation would probably be about right. Hop on the 55, go to 50 at Yeoju and then it is a straight shot over.

I cant answer you specific question, but what Ive noticed about driving regularly in korea (same as anywhere I suppose) is that my drive time can be reduced by a/ not necessarily following the gps b/ getting to know the route better and learning shortcuts that aren't used by the gps/general populous.
I cut 2 hours off my time from gangwondo to busan last time i drove there by avoiding the express way (and about 80,000 worth of fuel/toll tickets). Mainly because the expressway was backed up and convoluted.

What Im saying is, if you're doing this route regularly, you should be able to reduce your journey time once you get your bearings.
